3. Aluminum medium plate mold
With wooden or gypsum molds, standard molds can be made. Aluminum material is more suitable for molds. Firstly, it is lightweight and easy to mold for production. Secondly, it has moderate hardness and is easy to process. The mold is manufactured for mass production, and the casting parts use medium plate mold, which is a fast and low-cost production method. Stamping parts use stamping dies, but the stamping cost is relatively high and the replacement of lamps is relatively fast, so only a few enterprises adopt this method. Although the quality of products manufactured through stamping dies is fine, the vast majority of enterprises are unwilling to accept it due to its high cost.
4. Sand core mold production
Hollow accessories are made of sand cores, which are manually vibrated and dropped after pouring copper water. Special drum equipment can also be used to produce hollow parts. Hollow cores are generally used to run power cords, while also reducing the weight of accessories. The sand core is completed by a dedicated sand core machine.
5. Moulding and pouring
Moulding is the process of making a model using molds and sand, with a gate on the outside. The main tools for mold making include manual mold making machines and mold making boxes, mainly using the air pressure of an air compressor to assist in mold making. After matching the mold box with the mold, fill it with molding sand, tighten it with air pressure, and use a wooden rod to open the water hole on the model. Place the tightly pressed mold flat on the ground, remove the mold box, and press two heavy metals onto it to prevent damage to the mold caused by copper water expansion during pouring.
