Why do full spectrum LED lights have high color rendering index?

The full spectrum LED eye protection lamp is excited by a non blue light chip, which can fill in some spectra such as blue light, short wave green light, and long wave red light that ordinary LED lamps lack, greatly enhancing spectral continuity and integrity, and being closer to the full spectrum of sunlight.
 
While supplementing other bands, the blue light value in the full spectrum eye protection lamp spectrum is correspondingly reduced, greatly avoiding the damage of high-energy blue light to the retina and not affecting the development of the macular area in the eyes of adolescents. Also a healthy lighting environment can provide good rest quality.
 
The CRI of full spectrum led is better than the ordinary led. Due to the lack of purple light band in the spectrum, the ordinary LED desk lamp excited by the blue light chip still has a gap in color reduction ability compared with the continuous and complete full spectrum eye protection lamp, even though the Color rendering index Ra is forced to increase by other methods.
 
In this way, the full spectrum eye protection lamp with better spectral continuity shows greater advantages.


The Color rendering index Ra usually refers to the average value of the Color rendering index of the first eight color samples, and R9-R15 is the special Color rendering index.

Special Color rendering index R9:

R9 refers to the ability of the light source to restore saturated red. Many specifications require that the R9 value of the lamp should be greater than zero. If there is a lack of red light, it will create a cyan reflection between green and blue light in the human eye, reducing the color gamut of color reproduction, not only causing dull and uninteresting images in the field of vision, but also affecting the quality of the lighting environment.
